Job Description

Are you passionate about empowering young Vietnamese women to enter the tech industry or pursue further education in tech? Do you want to contribute to closing the skills and employment gap in Vietnam? If you are tech-savvy, enthusiastic about education, and eager to support learners in their journey from basic digital literacy to specialised tech knowledge, this role is for you!

The Program:

Join INCO's groundbreaking Get into Tech (GiT) program, an orientation and pre-specialization training initiative aimed at helping young Vietnamese women secure jobs in the tech sector or advance their education in this field. The program addresses the skills gap in the Vietnamese job market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Beneficiary Recruitment and Learner Support:
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and recruit beneficiaries for our programs and initiatives, with a focus on providing robust learner support.

  • Utilise the network of NGOs and universities to tap into diverse pools of potential beneficiaries, emphasising a learner-centric approach.

  • Conduct outreach activities to raise awareness about our organisation's mission and programs within the community, with a particular emphasis on engaging and supporting learners.

  1. Outreach Strategies Development and Learner Interaction: 
  • Formulate innovative outreach strategies to maximise the impact of recruitment efforts, ensuring a learner-friendly approach.

  • Analyse demographic and community data to tailor outreach approaches for specific target groups, prioritising learner preferences and needs.

  • Stay informed about best practices and trends in outreach and engagement to continuously improve strategies, with a keen focus on enhancing learner interaction.

3. Collaboration and Coordination for Learner Engagement: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organisational goals and objectives, with special attention to enhancing learner engagement.

  • Coordinate events, workshops, and campaigns in collaboration with NGOs and universities to boost recruitment while fostering meaningful interactions and support for learners.

  • Ensure communication and information flow between the organisation, partners, and potential beneficiaries, prioritising clear and effective channels for learner support.

4. Advocacy and Representation for Learner Impact: 

  • Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and events related to outreach and engagement, advocating for the learner-centric mission of the organisation.

  • Advocate for the organisation's mission and values to strengthen its presence in the community and academic circles, with a specific emphasis on the positive impact on learners.

5. Data Management and Learner Outcome Documentation: 

  • Maintain accurate records and data of learners, ensuring comprehensive documentation of program participation and outcomes to support ongoing evaluation, improvement efforts, and personalised learner support.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business, Communications, Social Sciences, International Development, etc.).

  • Proven experience in outreach, engagement, or partnership development, preferably in the non-profit sector.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Creative and strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Fluent Vietnamese (communicative English is a plus).
